Sony Fails On Two Counts

So, apparently waiting to try and cash in on a human being's death is just out of the question to Sony, hence this little gem Michael Jackson: The Stripped Mixes.

Sony Fail #1: They released this the day of Michael Jackson's memorial. Very nice, Sony. Nothing but class.

Sony Fail #2: The album is terrible. A bunch of great early Michael Jackson and Jackson 5 songs with all of the engineer's and producer's work removed so that they sound like it's just MJ and the gang in their living room practicing their routine. Complete and total waste of time.

What a wonderful way to begin the postmortem cash grab.

I submit that I am unimpressed by Sony, in this instance.
